Summary
Unable to follow GPS precision approaches
Description
EC135 does not follow GPS precision landing approaches using AFCS. While following a GPS LPV approach to an airport flying with AFCS and NIMS is active nav source, GPS starts to provide vertical guidance (a glideslope) on the nav screen. NAV button is active up with "C" lighted up. Then pressed "GS" button on AFCS panel. Nothing happened. If "APR" button is pressed, AFCS decouples and nav source switches from NIMS to ILS2. Tried various steps using this link: https://www.rotorsim.de/ec135v5/users-guide?start=7 Unable to have AFCS fly a GPS approach to airports.

The behavior described is correct. APP and GS mode cannot be fed by the NMS. For an ILS approach it is necessary to change the source to ILS in due course. Refer to the manual where the possible sources for each mode are given.
